Kaikkilla on oikeus näyttää just siltä miltä näyttää,
kaikki on kauniita just sellaisina kun he ovat.
Sori mutta oli pakko sanoa jtn.

Body Positivity has been a big thing lately, thats a good thing right?
Its great that we finally live in a time where the beauty standard isn't just one set shape of body.
At least that's how it's supposed to be. But then some of the same people who share their stories about how they feel more comfortable in their own body now turn around and say that skinny women are not real women. You can't have ads that have skinny women in them and in Paris you now have to meet a certain weigh limit to be a model. What kind of body positivity is that if we are not willing to accept women of ALL sizes.
I will forever remember getting hired at a vintage clothing shop and how excited I was, this was right up my alley. But unfortunately I will always remember as well when the new manager was explaining what she loved about the store. She said "I like the fact that they make sizes for real women here"
Then she turned around and in the same breath said "sorry Amy"
So this lady was now insinuating that I was not a real woman based on the fact that I was skinny. I'm sorry but I can't help the genes I was born with.
If your curvy or full sized you are beautiful and an idol to all the big women who have low self-esteem, but if your skinny and tall then you need to go eat more and gain a few more pounds before you can be considered a real woman.
Megan trainor and Nicki Minaj who refer to us smaller size women as skinny bitches are the new body positivity idols? Yeah right.
People need to learn to love others just as they are.
Whether your tall, short, skinny, full figured, white, black, have freckles or a perfect complexion.
Everyone has every right to feel comfortable in their own skin and everyone is beautiful just how god made them.
Hopefully we will one day reach true acceptance of each other, but we still have a long ways to go.
